As with all teachers, my style & training are unique. After practicing independently for three years, I was certified in Sivananda Yoga at the Ashram in Grass Valley, California. For me, traditional Hatha Yoga has always been the most healing. Each asana balances the previous, and the following, allowing for a delicate release of tension in both mind & body.
I believe that the most powerful practice is one that reveals darkness, and fills those spaces with light. Quiet, slow, passionate, gentle, with absolute mindfulness. Focusing attention on subtle movements of the body and the breath. I encourage my students to feel everything entirely: the comfortable, the uncomfortable, in body and heart.
Entirely relaxed, donation based hatha. Mat babies, park kids, furry friends, & all levels welcome.
